to user’s phone or other device through Bluetooth. The Bluetooth range is up to
300 feet. It can store up to 24 hours of data if it doesn’t send updates. CEO
and founder Nick Warren said in a statement to mashable.com, “Sensor-1 scans
the environment and then it stores a measurement. If that measurement changes
beyond a certain amount, then it alarms.” The innovative features that has added
to the prominence of Sensor-1 are small size, storage capacity, and others.
A group of students from Sweden invented a monitoring alarm
device named ‘Serenity’ for baggage security. The device sounds alarm when
baggage is moved or opened. It synchronizes automatically with an app user’s
device, so there is no need to turn on device every time. In addition, it also
ensures baggage is not left behind. Technological innovation boosts monitoring
alarm device industry.
